Principle Investigator

  • 孙东科 Dongke Sun
    Seattle
Dr. Dongke Sun is a professor at School of Mechanical Engineering, Southeast University. Prior to his appointment at Southeast University, he was a staff scientist at Materials Genome Initiative Center (MAGIC) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is focusing on numerical modeling of microstructure evolution with the aim of extracting reliable, rigorous and useful predictions for interesting scientific problems. He is also interested in modeling of complex fluids with the lattice Boltzmann methods, such as double emulsions, dendritic growth in metals/alloys, bubble-dendrite interactions, and suspensions of deformable microscale particles (circulating tumor cells, red blood cells) in microfluidic devices.
